cravings

Bowl_cherries_sm

Lately I've been craving fruit and vegetables but I suspect it's mostly for aesthetic reasons. The other day I planned out some great healthy meals. (That's a big step for me to plan the meal and follow through by buying the ingredients too.) After I arrived home from the grocery store I took a large square-shaped shallow white basket from my craft stash. Into it I placed bananas, limes, tangelos, oranges, cherry tomatoes, an avocado, lemons and next to it sits this bowl of cherries. It's all so lovely to look at that I keep replentishing it just to prolong the enjoyment. Plus, now I’m eating my fruit and veggies and I have an incentive to keep the kitchen counters clean and neat.

I have a confession to make. My studio is a big dirty, have-to-step-around-piles mess. Why am I telling you this? I need some accountability, my friends. When I come back here tomorrow I plan on having a clean room. As soon as I save this post I'm going to take some before photos, clean like mad and tomorrow I will post both the before & after shots. *sigh* I have to go now… talk to you tomorrow.

Cherries! Oh.....

Beautiful capture of the fruit in your photos.

and i'm with you on the cleaning thing. sometimes it just has to get done... looking forward to the before and afters!

I blame my blog reading habit for the filthy state of my house. Your fruit has me dribbling.

Great shots.

I'll be back tomorrow to see your beautiful studio all nice and clean, ok?

Now this is my idea of "food preperation"!
Lovely photos!

Those cherries look yummy! I hope your before after pictures will be the incentive I need to get some cleaning done.

What gorgeous colors. I hope everything tasted as divine as it looks.

so did you clean? I am not a dirrty person, but I can be quite messy and with my name being Jessica you can imagine the names my mother gave me as a child.

the cherries look amazing and the photo aint to shabby, yummy..I love June, it is cherry season!!

okay lady, by now that fruits a'moldin' so you better have eaten it-- as for the accountability, i want CLEAN STUDIO PICTURES. (all my spaces are one happy mess right now, so i need lots of inspiration!)
