summer '07
Hello again! I'm popping in for another hit-and-run post because a) it has been way too long since my last post, and b) I've got a few photos from Summer '07 to show you. I should warn you that there are still two more trips remaining in my over-stuffed Summer schedule before I can officially call it quits. This week takes me to London and I'm very excited! I haven't been there for about 10 years and I have a long list of shops to visit thanks to this book. However, I'm still looking for ideas so if any of you know about some great little fabric/notions shops that I shouldn't miss -- please tell me!
Almost as soon as I return from London, Mark and I are off to Houston for a week (work not leisure this time) and then... that is it! After Labor Day I want nothing more than to rest and relax at home for at least a month -- no traveling please.
Just for fun, I catalogued a list of all the states/countries I'll have visited + traveled through between June 1st and Labor Day:
South Dakota (start + end) | Minnesota | Missouri | Ohio | Pennsylvania | New Jersey | New York | Vermont | New Hampshire | Illinois | Kansas | Iowa | Georgia | Tennessee | Kentucky | Indiana | Texas | Louisiana | Oklahoma | Nebraska | England | Scotland
That’s twenty-two! Just listing them made me tired.
Now, how ‘bout those photos (in no particular order):

Sure wish Louisiana was on your list.

Oh! How could I forget Louisiana?! It is on the list now. :)

Wow! I'm exhausted just reading that list. You'll need a break when summer is over.

Houston? Yeah! I don't know what the weather is like up there right now. But when you come here just make sure you're psychologically prepared for the heat/humidity! ;)

I hope you have fantastic time in London. I rely on visitors to tell me where to visit in my own city so you must tell us where you went to and what you saw.
But I think Liberty is a great place to go to and browse and Marylebone High Street is a fantastic little road littered with interesting shops.

Hope you're having fun galavanting around the globe. When you get back home, give me a call (or email) and let's get together.
Also, even though I suffer from ornithophobia, I think your little owl photo is pretty cute. He's like a little cross-eyed mini-owl. Funny!
