thank you
Thank you all for the anniversary well wishes! Some of you asked about the photo that Mark took of me... so here you go.
This little wooden couple is part of a set my sister and I found at a thrift store a couple of years ago. At the time I thought that they were pricy at 80 cents apiece. Now, I kind of think they were a pretty good deal. Currently, I have these two up on our mantle. I put them there as a part of my Valentine's Day decor and they stayed to help celebrate our Anniversary. I guess they are still there because I haven't gotten tired of them yet. (Here's a very bad picture of the whole set.)
A QUESTION FOR YOU
I've been thinking about selling some of my photos as prints in my shop. What do you think about this idea? Are there already too many photo print sellers out there or should I go for it? I would really like to know your thoughts. Have you ever bought a print online?

I would definately say sell your photos online. I have purchased several arty photos from different sellers on Etsy. What is it going to really cost you to list the photos? Minimal even if they don't sell (as long as you don't print a bunch ahead of time). As far as the photos I have purchased most have been photoshopped with that funky look to make them look vintage.

Why not give the photos a try. If you do not ever try how will you know. Your photography is amazing, so it puts you ahead of the game.
I have never bought any photos, but I do not have one inch of space left in my house to hang anything else. I am waiting to we get a bigger house...

I agree. 80 cents is a lot when you are buying 9 or 10. I've been blurking for awhile but I've run into a design dilemma for a quilt I've been working on so I decided to come out of the woodwork. I was wondering if you or any of your readers wanted to stop over at my only partially craft blog and help me.

I think it is a great idea. If you use BigCartel and only list 10 it won't cost you a thing :-)

plus you could also put pics on greeting cards and sell them in packs. I love original art on cards.

You should definitely sell some prints online! Yes, there may be a lot of people selling photos already, but on Etsy, there's a lot of people selling every type of item and many people are still successful. Your pictures have a certain charm that I think will do well regardless of the number of other sellers!

Sounds like a great idea. I've been contemplating the same idea for some time now... and I'm leaning towards trying it rather than not. :) So, go for it.

I was thinking of trying to sell a few of my photos on there. it never hurts to give it a try and your photos are great. I've bought a couple of prints and I always need to buy more. Need.
