This is a shot of our bedroom doorway looking out into the hall. (See it bigger.) The title is a bit misleading. It would be more appropriate to say that I stare at what isn't there. Why? It always takes me a while to get out of bed. I spend at least 10-15 minutes staring at this corner or that until I come to my senses and realize that I've been staring at nothing for a very long time. Sometimes Mark will ask me, "Are you staring?" We've been married long enough that he doesn't ask me what I'm staring at any more. p.s. I plan on painting the rest of the door frames white (not the doors themselves). For some reason they are white inside the rooms but not in the hallway.
