Dressing the table... lilies in one of the old crocks that I somehow can never resist picking up at flea markets and yard sales.

Dressing the wall... a print given to me by one of my favorite interior designers and flickrers: the 10 Cent Designer.

Dressing the bedroom... Mark finally hung this mirror for me. I acquired it for a mere $5 at a yard sale 2.5 years ago. I love it and he loves me so up it went.

 

p.s. All of this dressing was for something pretty awesome but I can't/won't say anything more about it just yet. Eep.

Happy 2011 everyone! Here's a shot of my current inspiration board:

So, did I tell you that for the past year my office/studio has been in our front sunroom? Mark suggested that I relocate to this space and I love it! I was so worried that I would have to move back into the dining room for the Winter because for the past two years we've sealed off this space. It was so drafty! First, I would shut the french doors separating it from the living room and then I'd stuff and squeeze wool fabric (dark brown to match the woodwork thank you) into the cracks to stop the whoosh of frigid air. But not this year. No siree. I took the advice of a few friends and spent an entire evening (nine windows worth) using the window film and voila! Mark and I could hardly believe the difference. It is so pleasant and I get to use my office 365 days a year. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
