I'm feeling so much better today thanks to:
Was go for a walk. It is ten degrees colder here today than it was yesterday, but, I was on a roll with a website design I'm working on (for work) and never made it out the door. Now I may have to go out today and it will be a sort of punishment because the whole time I'll be thinking about how warm and sunny it was yesterday. Blah blah blah. Um, did I type that out loud? Sorry about that. Oh, and another thing (a good one this time). Did you see Martha's assortment of pictures/prints ready for framing? Her arrangement looks awesome! I desperately need a solution for the stacks of prints I've got which I'd love to put up in my living room. Oh yes, and I could really use some help with my living room. It is a crazy hard layout --it has four separate entrances (front door + a set of french doors on one wall, a staircase + the opening to the dining room on the facing wall), there is a fireplace that takes up most of a third wall, the fourth wall is one large window at the foot of the stairs and it is a very long and narrow room. You know, I am seriously thinking of submitting my problem area to Holly at Decor8 for one of her "This person needs some help" posts. I can't tell you how many times I've told my husband that I wished I had a friend (no doubt a very patient friend) who was an interior decorator who I could bounce ideas off of.
I put one of the photos from yesterday's post in the kitchen above our espresso maker. I tried to take an honest picture of our kitchen, you know, warts and all. But, I lost my nerve. I couldn't bring myself to widen the shot. Hey, believe me you're not missing anything.
I wanted lemons and we were out. I was looking for something like this...
If you're keeping up with my 365 in 2009 posts and think I've dropped the ball, I am here to assure you that I have not. I've been posting every day over on flickr. And here on the blog? I feel okay with updating here in bunches. Like I'm about to do now!
