Last weekend I hitched a ride with Dad and Kim as they headed over to Wisconsin to visit my sister and her family. We spent Saturday at The Little Farmer Orchard. The day could not have been more perfect: cold in the morning and so warm by mid-afternoon that you could take a nap* in the middle of all the festivities.
Upon recommendations from at least two people, we went to Trophy Cupakes and Party. We have been there twice now. Twice. That makes two visits in just three days. And I would not be at all surprised if we slip in another visit before we head home on Saturday either. It is that cute and the cupcakes are that delicious. My favorites are the Vanilla Chocolate (a Swedish buttercake cupcake with bittersweet Belgian chocolate buttercream icing) and the Chocolate Peanut Butter (a chocolate cupcake topped with peanut butter buttercream icing). The latter is only available on Thursdays and is pictured below in my husbands hands. Sweet dreams indeed!
