I used a different shot for the flickr meme that's been going around (you know, you have 5 minutes to take a picture of yourself and upload it). As I said over there, it was 3:00 and I had not brushed my hair at all that day. Not that I could get a brush through this mop. I have a super simple I-work-from-home formula for doing my hair. Ready?
1. Wash, 2. Condition, 3. Blow dry a little bit on low (I do about 2/3 of the way dry), 4. Put it in a bun for a couple of hours and voila!
There's no brushing or combing unless I find a huge snarl. The less you actually touch the hair the better. Not that anyone would want to have their hair look like this. On purpose. Much less admit it to the world (i.e. my mom who reads this). Hi mom!
This picture is the day after the easy hair day which is even more ridiculously easy (i.e. lazy).
1. The night before: WIth your head upside down, gather all of your hair together and twist into a knot/bun. Secure with a clip or whatever works.
2. Go to sleep. (See I told you it was easy.)
3. Wake up, remove clip(s) and shake hair out, use your fingers to remove any gigantic tangles that may be visible to the mail man or whoever you're trying to convince that even though it is almost lunch time you absolutely did not just wake up. Again don't touch it too much. If it gets static just add a little anti frizz cream or lotion or what have you.
There! Now you are ready to frighten all of your friends on flickr or facebook or your blog! Boo.
